Course Description:

Explore acrylic painting through exercises designed to help you gain confidence in your work. Learn how to take advantage of the qualities of acrylics--a dense but quick-drying medium--rather than trying to emulate oil paint. Experiment with color and composition in several short-term exercises designed to facilitate the understanding of the technical aspects of painting. Concurrently a more extensive painting will be developed exploring content of personal interest to the student.
